We love celebrating and sharing milestones by being able to offer all the wonders of our magnificent hill and beautiful Newfane, Vermont.

Our venue can offer boutique-type, intimate events to very large-scale weddings and parties. Success is when we have guest return a year and years later to recapture that unforgettable day, event, or moment. Often spending time meandering through the wildflower fields, walking the wooded trails, having a picnic in the orchard, or sitting by the ponds or on a stone fence and visiting one particular place, reliving that special once-in-a-lifetime moment. At Silhouette Hill, memories are what we make.

One of Newfane’s most beautiful properties, Silhouette Hill, has been in the Mantel family for over 65 years, where the five Mantel siblings made the hill home, attended local schools, and were active in the community.

Still a family home and gathering place for three generations and continues in this tradition, with sisters Laurie and Henriette now as shepherds and caretakers of its legacy.

When these two sisters realized how many people wanted to share this authentic Vermont experience, they decided it was time for the property to be enjoyed by all for weddings, events, and special occasions.
